Nice to virtually meet you! Here's what you need to know about me.

Larry Nieman, ESource Coach

Life’s biggest changes should not be experienced alone.  No matter the stage you are in during your career transition I am here to provide support, encouragement and to walk with you on this journey.

Let me tell you about my 1.0

Dedicated professors in college supported me, challenged me to broaden my leadership skills, taught me to consider all options and most importantly participated in my personal achievements.  From an early age I witnessed the power of coaching, tremendously benefited from it and knew someday I wanted to pay it forward.

Following college, I entered the corporate world gaining valuable accounting experience with the ultimate goal of returning to the collegiate setting to teach, guide and empower the next generation.  I taught at Robert Morris University – IL as a faculty member in the accounting and management departments.  The classroom atmosphere was a mixture of teaching and mentoring.  I spent the time to get to know my students and finding unique ways to reach them and best prepare them for their future.  I then worked as the Director of the Business Institute at the university taking on a great role helping students navigate their career path. From there I was promoted to the Associate Dean of the School of Business and then moved to the Dean role a few months later.  Throughout my time as Dean, I was most energized by the mentoring and coaching of students and staff.  In 2016 I was promoted to Vice President of Curriculum and Instruction and spent the next three years establishing partnerships within the community and global organizations to understand the changing needs of the workplace and established procedures to ensure our students and staff developed the skills needed to be successful.

In 2019 as a result of organizational restructuring my position was eliminated. My twenty-five-year tenure at the university was over but my passion to empower, educate and coach others was not.

Welcome to my 2.0

I connected with The Entrepreneur’s Source in 2020 – a year that will forever be remembered for the global pandemic – a time where many people assessed what really mattered in their life and made big decisions. I eagerly serve as a Career Ownership Coach.

Through personal coaching I am able to help individuals who are seeking to make that transition from their 1.0 to their 2.0 by supporting goals, values, skills and establishing a realistic and obtainable career path. Whether you are contemplating a career change, planning for entrepreneurship or dreaming about what will be – I am here to join you on that journey.

“I started with just me and one truck, working out of my garage. I now have four employees, and I am in a commercial space. The earnings potential is pretty well limitless at this point. I am busy. I do have to spend time away from my family just as I did before. But now, if I want to stay home and cook my kids breakfast, I can. On nice sunny days, if I want to cut out early to take the kids swimming, I do. I don’t just have weekends to choose from anymore.”
